Explore SOLAR features for individual channel control, daily schedules and lighting usage.

Review the current setup, enter the distance to the basking area and select a species preset. Adjust UVB, UVA and visible light independently.
The UVB and UVA readouts show output values based on measured data, rather than percentages, so you can check the lighting settings without separate measuring equipment.
These readouts do not establish an integrated live UV sensor or replace species-specific assessment of the enclosure.

Set independent exposure schedules for UVB, UVA and visible light. The UVB and UVA timers can each be set up to 8 hours.
Gradual sunrise and sunset transitions apply to all three channels. These changes are designed to support a natural day/night rhythm, reducing stress from sudden lighting changes.
The 8-hour maximum is a control limit, not a recommended UV dose. The general UVB guidance is 1–5 hours per day, adjusted for the species, animal and enclosure.

Review recorded UVB and UVA intensity and exposure time, with averages over 7, 30 and 90 days.
Compare changes in the daily pattern to inform refinements to lighting intensity and exposure over the longer term.
Four habitat categories organise the presets: Tropical, Savanna, Desert and Semi-Aquatic.
The app listed seven species presets in September 2026, with more planned. Check the app for the current selection.

The screen values are not universal settings for every animal in these categories.
Use the actual basking distance and the correct species before refining individual channels.
Enter the distance from the light to the basking area and choose the appropriate species preset. The automatic intensity and exposure suggestions are based on this combination, without complex measurement calculations.
Fine-tune UVB, UVA and visible light for the individual reptile’s condition and the enclosure environment.

Bluetooth control keeps lighting power, schedules, adjustments and usage data together on your smartphone.
See which of the three channels are operating and their remaining exposure time. UVA and UVB are invisible to the eye; the display provides their operating status.
Access power, timers, adjustments and lighting usage data directly from the main screen.
Group two or more SOLAR units. A main light coordinates power and timers while each fixture retains its own UV output, brightness and enclosure settings.
Recorded intensity and exposure-time history helps compare lighting patterns and refine the long-term setup.

Presets, group control and three-channel scheduling on this page refer to SOLAR. Explore UV Focus for its dedicated formats and Bluetooth control. Interface values are examples, not universal husbandry instructions.
The app works with compatible SPECTERRA lighting through Bluetooth.
The official Google Play listing describes UVA, UVB, RGB and colour-temperature adjustment, with timers and sunrise/sunset effects. The available controls depend on the connected compatible lighting hardware.
Android requires version 7.0 or later. The app needs Bluetooth and compatible SPECTERRA lighting. The primary images are English visual adaptations, not live firmware captures.
